"Allons patine” - There's something magical, and so typically Canadian, about a pickup hockey game in a rink in a public park. How many of you have fond memories of this- the icy cold, the effort it took to quickly tighten and tie those skates before your fingers would freeze over, the sound of the skates on the bumpy, uneven ice?
