One of 16 paintings from the 'Atmosphere and Texture, Italy 2019' collection.  This passage led to an old farm house apartment that we rented for a week in the rolling hills of Chianti.  The house was built around 1600 according to the owners. Many human feet helped polish and warp these ancient stone steps. The dim light emanating from the old-world wall sconce casts wonderful shadows across all the elements of the passage creating interesting atmospheric textures.
