Roosters:
Roosters are magnificent animals, they have been used in weathervanes for centuries. These are made from reclaimed old Pine floor boards. These were creatively created by the Wood Shepherd, Stephen Shay
In Christian tradition, the rooster is the symbol of Christ, light and resurrection. As Christ, the rooster announces the light that follows the night. The rooster can be found in weather vanes on top of church crosses and cathedral towers, remembering and marking the place as one of sanctuary.
