Workshops at Martello Alley and Martello on Brock offer a unique, hands-on creative experience in the heart of downtown Kingston. Many of our workshops are completely free — and even the materials are provided. You’re welcome to drop in, but we recommend signing up in advance to reserve your spot.

Both locations are vibrant artist collectives and creative hubs, open daily year-round. What began over a decade ago as a dark, forgotten alley has transformed into one of Kingston’s most beloved art destinations. Today, Martello Alley and Martello on Brock showcase the work of local artists and makers, offering visitors the chance to meet creators, see art in progress, and take part in the creative process themselves.

Our workshops reflect our purpose: making art accessible, welcoming, and community-driven. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker, there’s something for everyone.
