Cathie Hamilton

Cathie is a multi-faceted artist who works in various mediums and styles. Her breadth of work includes acrylics, oils, watercolours, copper and encaustics.

The beauty of nature is a constant source of inspiration for Cathie; she chooses mediums that artfully reflect on the texture, colour and movement found in the environment.    

Whether it is the whimsy of children or a quiet moment in the forest Cathie’s work is bursting with light and colour!

Cathie shares her passion for art by teaching encaustic painting at The Kingston School of Art.

She also a member of TIFFA (Thousand Islands Fine Art Association) & VAGA (Visual Artists of Gananoque and Area)
