"Growing up, Julie could never decide which she loved more - writing or drawing. Fortunately, she didn't have to choose. After a decade living in the UK, she moved to Toronto following the birth of her son. Since relocating to Kingston last year, Julie divides her time between freelance writing and a burgeoning visual arts practice. Whether she's painting portraits, florals, or landscapes, the same bold use of colour is present in her work.
