Rosalyn Insley

 

After a long hiatus, she has returned to the studio full time, and I has rediscovered her love of painting nature.

Rosalyn is a studio painter, but spends much of hher time outdoors. If she’s not in the studio, she’s out in her kayak, or hiking around with hher camera, gathering subject material.

She is a trained graphic designer, and applies those lessons to her artwork. She is fascinated by the strong horizontals and verticals of nature and the effect light has on these elements.  

Though primarily a landscape painter, she is happy to tackle any wildlife that wants to pose for her, and has done a number of water and song birds.

She feels truly blessed to be a full time painter, and to be able to share the beauty of the countryside with you.

Education

Trained as a Graphic Designer with an emphasis Painting and Illustration..

1973 Graduate of Graphic Design, George Brown College
