I have spent my Saturdays during November and December in Perth. The drive from Kingston to Perth on Highway 10 is such a sight for the eyes. Coming home I chase the sunsets, stopping at each spot to catch the light then jumping in my car to drive to the next vantage point. Spectacular glowing sunsets can be seen at the lake access points that I always find inspiring. This particular day it was the morning sun that caught my eye. The sun had already risen and it was about 9:30 in the morning. That time of day doesn't often create scenes that stop me in my tracks, but this particular day it did. I was delighted to see the sun glistening through the underside of the branches, against a monochromatic background.
