I think what is most interesting as you walk through the neighborhoods are the glimpses into the back alleys and back yards of these older neighborhoods. And particular I love the variety of the colors, ranging from vibrant to soft pastel.
This piece is painted on an 8 x 10 panel with acrylic paint and some use of paint marker.
