One of 16 paintings from the 'Atmosphere and Texture, Italy 2019' collection.  While exploring the Tuscan town of Lucca, we came across a wine shop that had multiple caverns of beautiful wines in its cellar, Enoteca Vanni.  Many of the bottles were very dusty with age.  We were literally exploring a chamber of ancient treasure.  The spooky setting and age of the cellar inspired me to paint one of the chambers with a glowing ‘spirit wine’.
