Crossing Borders
Painting is done in acrylic on watercolour paper and then on hard board in a 11"x14" frame. There is lots of texture in this abstract painting. We went from Canada to Florida for the winter for many years, and this painting reminded me of the border crossing between Canada and the USA. The crossing always seemed a little stressful with the wait, but it was always nice to be back home in Canada.
