Her inspiration to paint birds comes from when she is bird watching the various birds at the feeder and surrounding area in her yard. As she watches the crows in the trees in her yard, she noticed one crow doing a dance, a bow and flutter it's feathers with the sunlight directed on him. He put on a performance, a courtship ritual like he was doing a disco dance impressing the ladies.
