Gite le Vélo Bleu - painted screen
I started painting on screens several years ago. The trick is to do it in the summer on a hot sunny day. That way the paint dries a lot faster and doesn’t drip as much. I start by priming the screen so it’s like a giant canvas. Then I paint these fake French signs or artwork on them. Lots of fun! And it brightens up the backyard. It’s art that you can keep outside all year, even in the winter. It’s painted with outdoor paint so it will last a long time.
