Who remembers those cold winter days of our youth? That local park we would always go to. The sideboards that were placed in November in preparation for the flooding of the rink in December. The sharp chill in the air. Our toes freezing while we hurriedly put those old leather shares on. Remember those days?
As we get older, it seems that we love that live of winter, that wonder of the beauty of the freshly fallen snow on the Christmas lights. When I look outside on winter, I look back on those wonderful times.
