This ornament has been handcrafted to depict Springer Market Square in Kingston. It continues to be a place where we greet our local farmers and artisans each week. The revitalized square is a place to enjoy our community, live music, Buskers, and even becomes an outdoor movie theatre every summer.
My work is inspired by memories of skating in the Square with my little girl under the majestic Christmas tree and then warming up across the street in our favourite place to enjoy a hot cocoa and indulging in a sweet treat.
I hope this ornament brings forth warm memories for you and your family as well.
