The building stands near the Basilica and forms part of a cluster of early 19th century structures that highlight Ottawa’s pre Confederation roots.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMichelle Elston Hoban is an Ottawa Artist whose work is inspired by character, history and architecture of homes and buildings. She is fascinated by the stories that houses tell, believing that every home possesses its own personality and sense of place. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eworking in acrylics, Michelle captures the charm and individuality of homes throughout Eastern Ontario, with many of her paintings featuring Ottawa, Cornwall and Kingston.
