The Keg restaurant in patio is located at the corner of King and Clarence Street in Kingston Ontario. It was built in 1895 as a new home for the Whig Standard founded in 1834. The Whig was originally a weekly newspaper servicing the Kingston and Eastern Ontario the building is now owned by the city of Kingston and used as administrative offices as well as the main level is home to the restaurant.
