One of the great things about a kayak (or canoe) is the ability to sneak thru gaps that are only a couple of inches deep, to investigate hidden inlets and bays. Often these hide muskrat burrows, otter holts or the perfect sunny log for turtles to bask in the sunshine, and we often surprise each other!
