Algonquin Park Afternoon by Jessie Russell

Jessie Russell

A treasure in the Canadian North is Algonquin National Park. Algonquin is a haven for adventurers to hike, canoe, swim, fish, and camp. After a long day of paddling, and portaging, bringing the canoe to rest on the shores of Burnt Island Lake was a welcome relief. Beautiful landscape, warm winds, silence and peace of mind, this painting is a reflection of the tranquility of an Algonquin summer.
