I’ve been taking a bit of a break from painting winter scenes. This one is a 12” × 12” acrylic titled "Too Cold for Ice Cream." It captures a late fall day when the ice cream shop has already closed for the season—apparently it’s just a little too cold for a cone. Winter is clearly on its way.
But now, as I’m posting this, winter is on its way out. It’s been a long, cold season, and I for one am glad to see it ending. How about you?
