Aglow Against the Storm by Leith Channen
One of my autumn pleasures is to take long motorcycle rides through the back roads north of Kingston as a passenger behind my husband. My eyes feast on the glorious scenes revealed as we twist and turn through fields and woods. In spite of the looming storm, we had to pause to capture the intense rays of the sun that set this row of poplars aglow against the dark approach of the clouds.
