The Hochelaga Inn was built in 1879. It was designed by Power & Sons, who also designed many other historically significant buildings in Kingston, Ontario from 1845-1890. Originally the inn was the home John McIntyre, a prominent lawyer and Kingston’s very first mayor. The historic 3-story Victorian red brick mansion features ornate, original architectural details.
