Blue Agate and Fine Silver Necklace, handcrafted in a unique material originally sourced and manufactured in Japan. The compound is fine silver from the technology industry, considered to be of no worth until it was captured in the run off from the factory where it was being removed from things such as computer chips. The silver is ground to a fine powder and infused with a moist organic binder that is later burned off in a kiln. The filagree ball is piped on to a binder made of cork or paper that is burned off in the kiln leaving a hollow ball shape.
