"Ashbridges Bay Lifeguard Station"
A few summers ago Wendy and I went to Toronto for one of our daughter Hannah's beach volleyball tournaments. I was struck by the beauty of that beach, and by this quaint structure. It is known as the Leuty Lifeguard Station and it is a heritage structure.
If you have been following the news you know that there has been widespread flooding all along the shores of Lake Ontario (May 2017). This structure was threatened. I do not know its fate, but I hope that they manage to save it!
