Lady Slippers (bronze finish) - 8 x 10 inches print
I’d been wanting to get some images of Lady’s Slippers for a long time so when the Camera Club organized a photoshoot to Purdon Conservation Area, I went along. The conservation area has a “boardwalk” going through the boggy land so we can walk and admire the flowers without disturbing the ecosystem. We, as photographers, tend to get lost in our bubble when shooting so we didn’t notice the weird looks people gave us when we would actually lay down on the boardwalk to setup and compose our images. These flowers tend to be short in stature so we had to get down to their level!
