This is a print of a painting I did in 2006. It is a brick house on Frontenac Street, just north of KCVI, the oldest school in Ontario.
Back in high school I decided to take art as my "bird course" as we called it back then. There was not a lot of art instruction, but we were able to keep ourselves busy by painting or doing whatever we wanted. So I decided to do some paintings in the style of various members of the Group of Seven.
This painting was done much later - in 2006. I decided to try something along the lines of an early Lawren Harris.The painting is oil on canvas and measures 16" x 20"
